Unvarnished Truth: Scenes from Petitto Studio
Images captured November 2, 2007

I'm going through some of my various compounds to repair some frame corners. In the end, I decided to use a different frame for the little painting that I will bring to a Rochester Art Club show tomorrow. The frame I chose is a 'floater' frame, so I needed to paint the edges of the painting a dark color. Otherwise, it looks as if the painting's underwear is showing. Not in a fashionable way.

Later, I worked on the acrylic painting on paper that's been lying around for a while. Still later, Bill and I assembled the little painting in its frame. He has a nice cordless drill that makes the whole operation much easier.
