Finally, bad weather outside and I get back into my studio for some real work. I am still using acrylics for the Time and Tide painting. I'm trying to establish some big shapes and colors, plus a little more texture .. for that I threw some blue paint onto the surface.

I started another oil painting, mainly just a background for a painting. I picked some colors and tried to make an interestng gradient. A ghostly figure started to emerge. I don't know what I'll do with that. I work on the oil painting while the acrylic one is drying. Back and forth.
