JUNE 1998

This is what the garden looked like in June, 1998. From left to right on the lowest level are white "bridal veil" astilbe, a variegated hosta and a wild strawberry. Just above and between the astilbe and hosta you can see a dwarf white bleeding hear in bloom. Forgetmenot's have come and gone already, and small blue lobelia are blooming among the larger plants, but don't show in this photo.

MID SUMMER 1998

The area around the little cherry tree on the point has been cleaned up and covered with lanscape fabric and wood chips. The tree needs a little pruning, I think! Notice the large stump next to the little cherry tree. It had been an ash but we cut it down.
